visit to Spreewald. A beautiful, unique natural conservation
area which is located southeast of Berlin. The combination
of wetlands, forests, and beautiful waterways will offer you
a serene and peaceful adventure. You can ride in a
flat-bottom wooden boat, while a guide moves it along the
waterway with a long wooden pole ----
very much like the gondolas in venice.
You can dine at restaurants along the waterway, feed the
ducks along the route, and sip champagne as you drink
in the beauty of the area. You can sample the famous
Spreewald Gurken (pickles), and if youÇre really lucky,
you can taste a German sausage right of the grill or
sample smoked eel or trout.
